So much to see...

After almost 20 days on the road charting more than 9,000 kilometres, Bernama News Channel (BNC) Chief Assignment Editor Abdul Rahman Ahmad remained upbeat about the remaining journey to the Holy Land.
“Not a minute rasa tired...Tapi memang tak rasa penat. Ada kala kereta drive 100km non-stop sebab tak ada service area.
“But too much to see different landscapes...it is a waste not to see all that.
“Unfortunately human eyes get tired at time and cannot help but doze off a few minutes je,” he said via WhatsApp this morning.
When suggested that he write a book on his journey, he replied: “InsyaAllah”.
He is among the eight-member Kembara Inspirasi Haji (KIH) team which was now in Kashgar along the Silk Road with history stretching over 2,000 years.
The city, located in Xinjiang Province in northwestern China, is known for its  Sunday bazar and 15th century Idkah Mosque which can accomodate 20,000 jemaah.
“Kashgar is our final stop before exiting China on Monday,” said Rahman.
They arrived in the city at 6pm yesterday after an eight-hour, 600km journey from Aksu, passing along mountain range in the distance.
“It was breathtaking.  Awesome,” he said.
The team has been in China for 17 days after two days in Thailand and overnight in Laos since embarking on their journey from Kuala Lumpur on July 18.
They spent about two hours at the Kashgar bazar which Rahman described as "too big to cover all".
"Banyak (barang) ada di Malaysia," he said in another WhatsApp message later.
"We visited the old city of Kashgar...we walk almost 2km there and it is the same path to a laundry," said Rahman.

The eight of them did their laundry which the operator initially asked for 80 yuan (RM50.84) each.
"After some bargaining, we got 200 yuan (RM127) for all," he added.
The 35-day journey by road was expected to cover 16,000km across 10 countries before reaching Makkah.
From China, they will travel to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and United Arab Emirates where they will take a flight from Dubai to Saudi Arabia.
The expedition started with 16 members and four vehicles but financial constraint forced eight of them along with two four-wheel drive to return home from Bangkok on July 21.
