The suggestion to revive the
Asean Inter-News Agencies Games (AINAG) has created some excitement among some
who were involved in the earlier tourneys.
AINAG was last held in
Bangkok in 1995. Only Bernama and host Thai News Agency (TNA) competed in the
games that year.
Retired Baki Ghani provided
more information about the games when he dropped by at the office today with
his well-kept file on AINAG.
The games were held for the
following objectives:
1. To promote mutual understanding among staff of the
ASEAN news agencies.

people-to-people contact.
