The ‘Men In Black’ team from the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) and TV3 won the BIMB Holdings Berhad-Bernama Media Community Drive 2018 from Putrajaya to Johor today.
The team comprising Datin Rohana Mustaffa, Datuk Zukri Valenteno, Ahmad Salman Fuaad and Salehuddin Yusof beat the defending team Budak Baru Belajar from Astro Awani comprising Wan Ahmad Faisal Ali, Mohammad Ezwan Amir Fahmy, Mohd Helmy Ibrahim and Idham Hafizi Wahab.
The third place went to 'Hunt Two' team from Bernama comprising Abdul Halim Hafiz, Wan Mohd Rady Wan Hassan and Fariz Rizal Madri.
Rohana said the team comprising Bernama and Media Prima TV3 gave importance to team work and time management.
“From the start, we divided the tasks to each of our team members and they knew their responsibilities. We were also among the three teams that arrived on time at 6 pm yesterday,” she told Bernama after the prize giving ceremony in Batu Pahat.
The activity was organised to strengthen the existing relationship between BIMB and the media, besides appreciating the media’s role in covering events relating to BIMB and its subsidiaries.
The top three winners took home RM4,000, RM3,000, RM2,000 respectively and there were also three special prizes and 10 lucky draws for the lucky winners.
A total of 144 participants from 18 media organisations involving 36 cars took part in the 255.35-kilometres treasure hunt from Putrajaya to Johor.
The community drive was flagged off by BIMB Acting CEO Mohd Muazzam Mohamed and Bernama Acting CEO Datuk Zakaria Abdul Wahab at the BIMB Putrajaya, Precinct 1, yesterday.
Bank Islam had allocated RM150,000 for the two-day event.
