The
‘Men In Black’ team from the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) and TV3
won the BIMB Holdings Berhad-Bernama Media Community Drive 2018 from Putrajaya
to Johor today.
The
team comprising Datin Rohana Mustaffa, Datuk Zukri Valenteno, Ahmad Salman
Fuaad and Salehuddin Yusof beat the defending team Budak Baru Belajar from
Astro Awani comprising Wan Ahmad Faisal Ali, Mohammad Ezwan Amir Fahmy, Mohd
Helmy Ibrahim and Idham Hafizi Wahab.
The
third place went to 'Hunt Two' team from Bernama comprising Abdul Halim Hafiz, Wan Mohd Rady Wan Hassan and Fariz Rizal Madri.
Rohana
said the team comprising Bernama and Media Prima TV3 gave importance to team
work and time management.
“From
the start, we divided the tasks to each of our team members and they knew their
responsibilities. We were also among the three teams that arrived on time at 6
pm yesterday,” she told Bernama after the prize giving ceremony in Batu Pahat.
The
activity was organised to strengthen the existing relationship between BIMB and
the media, besides appreciating the media’s role in covering events relating to
BIMB and its subsidiaries.
The
top three winners took home RM4,000, RM3,000, RM2,000 respectively and there
were also three special prizes and 10 lucky draws for the lucky winners.
A
total of 144 participants from 18 media organisations involving 36 cars took
part in the 255.35-kilometres treasure hunt from Putrajaya to Johor.
The
community drive was flagged off by BIMB Acting CEO Mohd Muazzam Mohamed and
Bernama Acting CEO Datuk Zakaria Abdul Wahab at the BIMB Putrajaya, Precinct 1,
yesterday.
Bank
Islam had allocated RM150,000 for the two-day event.
