Agency (BNA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Manama today.
The agreement was inked on the side-lines of the Executive Board meeting of the Organisation of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) hosted by BNA.

Zulkefli Salleh signed on behalf of Bernama while BNA was represented by acting Director-General, Mohannad Al-Noaimi.
The "MOU "aims at
coordination and cooperation between BNA and regional and international news
agencies and to benefit from them in the process of BNA's comprehensive
development, said Mohannad.
"As part of its
comprehensive development plans, BNA seeks to promote its presence in the
regional and global media arena and to avail from the expertise of Asian news
agencies which have already proven the success of their application in the
field of the press, media and news agencies", he added.
BNA had signed several similar MOUs for cooperation and exchanging of information and news articles with various Arab, Asian and foreign news agencies and plans to sign other MOUs with a number of other news agencies.
Bernama will host the next OANA executive board meeting in February 2015.
