The invitation was conveyed by the Japanese
Embassy Culture and Information Section Technical Advisor Simon Kubota during
his visit to Bernama International News Service today.
He was accompanied by the embassy’s Special
Assistant for Press and Public Relations Ham Shu Ying.
Kubota, who started his stint in Malaysia
five months ago, took the opportunity to introduce himself to Deputy Editor in
Chief for International Service Ahmad Zukiman Zain and Editor Azeman Ariffin
during the visit.
The meeting had enabled Kubota to gain a
better understanding of Bernama with the view of enhancing the cooperation
between the embassy and the news agency.
