Bernama set to ink cooperation deal with Russian news agency...

Bernama is set to sign a cooperation agreement with Sputnik, a Russian news agency at Wisma Bernama tomorrow.
Sputnik products include newsfeeds, websites, social networks, mobile apps, radio broadcasts and multimedia press centres.
Its headquarters is located in Moscow with regional offices situated in key regions and countries around the world, including the United States (Washington, DC), China (Beijing), France (Paris), Germany (Berlin), Egypt (Cairo) and the UK (London and Edinburgh).
The agency covers global political and economic news targeting an international audience.
The Sputnik brand was launched on November 10, 2014, by the Russian media group Rossiya Segodnya. Today, the editorial staff of Sputnik works in more than 30 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, etc.
The total volume of Sputnik's radio broadcasts on websites and FM and DAB/DAB+ frequencies adds up to over 800 hours daily.
Sputnik newswire services work around the clock in English, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese.
Agency photographers work all over the world and have repeatedly received prestigious international awards in the field of photojournalism, such as the World Press Photo and Magnum Photography Awards. 
The agency has its own photo database, called Sputnik Images, through which it sells photo and video materials, as well as infographics.
Among other agency products are public opinion surveys published as Sputnik.Polls.
Sputnik International's predecessors are the state-run news agency RIA Novosti and the Voice of Russia radio service, which were disbanded in 2013.
